DAVID FAIRAND
Chief Executive Officer, Founder
David, 43, began 19 years ago with Capgemini Paris, as a development engineer.
Then he spent 4 years as a Project Manager of FMCC COSPAS/SARSAT CNES with many missions in UK, Italy and China (3 months). After, he spent 3 years as a Project Manager for EADS Airbus and Spot Image.
In 2000, David was Sales Director in Space sector for the CNES, Thales Alenia Space (Syracuse III, Egnos, Galileo), EADS Astrium GmbH…
He joined Valtech Toulouse in 2004, of which he became Managing Director in 2006, and Group Sales Director for Aerospace. He worked 5 years with Airbus, in particular on applications of performance for A380 and EFB. He worked also on the offshore model with India, Germany and UK, and led the ISO 9001:2000 certification.
FRANÇOIS GOLDGEWICHT
Technical Director, Associate & Co-Founder
François, 28, is passionate about New Technologies.
He began development activities 15 years ago on Desktop and PDA applications. Then he caught the Internet wave, creating Web sites for various companies and founded in 1999 his first successful Web project, which he managed until 2002.
Between 1999 and 2004, in parallel of his engineer studies, he developped Desktop and Internet applications in J2EE and .NET for Texas Instruments, Thales Communications, CNES… In 2004 he worked as a consultant for Improve Paris then Steria Toulouse : Technical Mentor, he was also Trainer and he was actively contributing to development of Open Source projects.
In 2007 he joined Valtech Toulouse to work as a Technical Mentor and Technical Leader for Magnus, CIRSO, Pernod-Ricard, AIRBUS and SPOT IMAGE. He wrote technical articles and animates sessions to conferences (Valtech Days) and at the CNES “Centre de Compétences Techniques”. In parallel, in a personal respect, he develops iPhone applications since 2008 : in particular Rss Runner and its 100 000 downloads.
At the same time, he was a Valtech Training certified trainer, for which he animated and created courses about various subjects : Web/RIA, Web Services, REST, iPhone.
In 2008, he became Manager of “Web Frameworks” and “Web Services & XML” Technical Poles of Valtech Toulouse then Manager of the global coordination of these poles.
